Make the Right Decision; How to Tune Into What Your Mind Tells You
We’ve all been there.
You have a big decision to make and just don’t know what the “right” one is. Maybe you’ve thought about it so much that it’s consumed you or even, become a much bigger deal than you initially made it out to be.
Take a deep breath. Now, take another.
Let’s combine the facts and tune into our mind to make the right decision. Use the following questions to tune into your intuition and make the best decision for you, whatever crossroad you’re facing.
What are the facts of the situation?
Take a minute to write down the reality of the situation.
- What is happening?
- What needs to happen?
- What are the different options you can choose from?
What do you want to happen?
Before you make the decision, think about what result you want. What needs do you need meet? Write these answers down.
Now, what decision do you think would lead to that result?
I know, if you knew that answer, you wouldn’t be here! But approach your decision with your needs, goals, and desires in mind. Think of the big picture.
Lean into your intuition
Which decision keeps popping up or lingering in the back of your head? Lean into that. No one knows what you need better than you do.
Tap into your intuition. Listen to that gut feeling and small inkling. If you want to channel your intuition, try taking a walk in nature, talking it out with a friend, writing in your journal, doing something creative, or simply clearing your mind with a few deep breaths.
You know what’s best for you. You just need to listen to yourself.
